William "Bil" Haley-Freeman, known to friends simply as [Bil Haley-Freeman], retired as an independent film producer after working in various positions during his extensive career with network television and feature films. His television career spanned from editing sports programming at WNBC-Channel 4 to receiving the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy award as associate producer of "To Be a Man," starring Ozzie Davis on WABC-TV Channel 7. In film, he worked in various production roles with producer/director Spike Lee on "Mo' Better Blues." Bil's career also included directing commercials and public service spots for clients like Kodak, Pepsi and Johnson Products. Recently, Bil worked for SOBRO (South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation) as a new business development consultant.
