The Rev. Jesse Jackson's recent assertion that Obama is "acting white" and needs to "be bolder" is a case in point.

A 20-year-old Black female college student whose photo appeared in the paper, said: "Obama has complexion protection, but skin color doesn't cut it. Anywhere uptown, you need to earn respect, and Obama hasn't proven that he's done anything for the minority community."
