According to one newspaper account, this lame attempt at a joke "didn't get many laughs." Is it any wonder? What was [Barack Hussein Obama] thinking? Why call himself the white character in the "Rocky" movies and [Hillary Clinton] the Black character? Why, indeed.

Meanwhile, one thing is becoming crystal clear as the days dwindle down to a precious few on the road to "Super Tuesday" in early January: Obama is not connecting with Black voters, who should be his key constituency. The Rev. Jesse Jackson's recent assertion that Obama is "acting white" and needs to "be bolder" is a case in point.

A 20-year-old Black female college student whose photo appeared in the paper, said: "Obama has complexion protection, but skin color doesn't cut it. Anywhere uptown, you need to earn respect, and Obama hasn't proven that he's done anything for the minority community."
