For all of you opera buffs, and I know you're out there, on March 18, the New York City Opera will celebrate the opening of its 2010 spring season with a gala performance of Chabrierfe "L'Étoile." The evening will begin with cocktails from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by the performance, which will be followed by a grand evening of dinner and waltzing to music performed by the New York City Opera Orchestra on the promenade of the David H.
