Finally, for dessert I went against the masses of my girlfriends who all ordered the raspberry beignets with vanilla cream and opted for the mango sorbet and fresh watermelon, lighter but still tons of sugar. I didn't taste the beignets, but they looked like little jelly donuts, and my friends weren't impressed. Normally, I don't like sorbets because they are too sweet for my palate, but with the fresh slice of watery watermelon, it really cut the sweetness down.
