Sisters with Evidence

Summary

In a beautiful ceremony under the tent in Restoration Plaza, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Watson tied the knot on July 29, 2006. Phyllis Claybourne, the bride, is the mother of Timothy Stansbury, who was gunned down by housing officer Richard Neri in January 2004. The NYPD officer was never prosecuted, although the 19-year-old young man was unarmed and there had been no confrontation. Neri had been doing a rooftop patrol at the Louis Armstrong houses in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and Timothy was about to open the door onto the roof to take a shortcut. Neri shot into the stairwell, claiming that he had some sort of episode. Apparently the City is on the verge of settling a lawsuit brought by the family. On Saturday through, all eyes were on the gorgeous bride and groom, as they were surrounded by relatives, friends and passing Brooklynites who wanted to wish them all the best.
