Pregnant Woman's Death Shocks City, Emt Workers Under Fire

Summary

Eutisha Revee Rennix, a 25-year-old, suffered difficulty breathing, collapsed and reportedly had a seizure while at work at an Au Bon Pain eatery in Brooklyn on December 9. Rennix was six months pregnant. Her baby died two hours later at the hospital, leaving the city with questions over what happened in the eatery that led to two deaths some say could .have been prevented.

A 3-year-old son and grandmother are among the mourners that also include Rennix's twin brother, who is a solider, who have called the accounts of the EMTs' inaction "heartless" and "inhumane."
