"My immediate reaction to hearing about the alleged plot to kill Commissioner [Ray Kelly] was that was an awfully strange thing for someone to say who is already in prison," said Rev. Herbert Daughtry," activist and pastor of House of The Lord Church in Brooklyn. "A rationally thinking person-knowing how the prison thing goes-knows you don't engage in these kinds of discussions. And if someone does this, or there is evidence of a demented state of mind, when they're not thinking rationally, then the purported claim can't be taken too seriously," said Daughtry, who's also suspicious about the timing of these allegations.
