Summary
Lou Myers, veteran actor of the stage and screen, known by many his turn on Broadway in "The Color Purple" and his television role in "A Different World" has a play called "Footsteps From Before," which he has conceived, written and directs. This play is happening this Saturday only, June 30 at 7:30 p.m. at City College in Aronow Hall, located at 136th and Convent Avenue.
"Footsteps From Before" is more than a production that Myers is mounting with his former students. They are using this production as a vehicle for a greater purpose. "We're building the corporation of the future. We're not just doing a play. We're putting ourselves in the position to come back and produce another product. The concept is, we took 'Footsteps' and made it a production. We have a virtual office building, an office and a conference room [the telephone].
