Participants from Harlem Dowling West Side Center for Children and Family Services after-school program received a surprise visit from the New York Liberty's Cathrine Kraayeveld and Ashley Battle. The dominating basketball starlets, in association with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, presented school supplies to the adoring fans as part of their second annual school supply drive. During the New York Liberty vs. Chicago Sky game, over 850 school supplies were donated to the Garden of Dreams foundation by generous fans in attendance.

Related services include, family preservation, HIV/AIDS services, family support services, and after school programs for children and families living in Central Harlem, Washington Heights, Southeast Queens and Far Rockaway.
