Summary
Mr. [FERNANDO FERRER] is clearly the better choice for mayor, based upon the length of time he has served in government, his track record as the borough president of the Bronx, and his sensitivity to all of the people of this city. His sufficiently financed campaign should bring him to victory, but if any comparison ought be made between Ferrer and Bloomberg it is a "David versus Goliath" scenario in which Ferrer's homemade sling shot and no conscripted army found themselves awaiting electoral combat with Goliath, in the person of Michael R. Bloomberg, who has a paid army of thousands. Bloomberg's campaign was self-financed from a limitless well of his own resources and the ability to pay major money to those organizations and people who worked for him.
