The film has odd moments, however, and it appears that only little white kids know who Fat [Albert] and his gang are. There's one scene in which a little white girl teaches Mush-mouth how to speak and I couldn't help but think of Cosby's comments that ruffled a few feathers earlier this year. Overall, the film is wacky, corny, cheesy, but it, nevertheless, has universal appeal. And as Cosby would tell viewers before each cartoon episode, you'll learn something new, which may put a lump in your throat.
