For spring/summer 2010, Brazilian-born designer Fernanda Carneiro makes quite an impression. Her brand is perfect for petite-sized women with sensuous curves. In her contemporary collection, she plays with vivid colors, flirty shapes and dainty dresses in flowing fabrics. The look is youthful yet sexy, sweet yet tough, relaxed yet professional. Incorporating body-conscious silhouettes, Fernanda focuses on graphic seaming and detailing and playful pleated embellishments. Carneiro is also the winner of the 2010 Award for Emerging Designers.
With a capsule collection of vivid silk dresses and separates, Caneiro launched her namesake label Fernanda Carneiro in 2008.
