With no veteran quarterback on the roster, the decision to start [Mark Sanchez] from day one was a logical one. But the pressure is starting to mount. Sunday marked the third time Sanchez has thrown three or more interceptions in a game. The most gut-wrenching aspect of it was that several of the passes were unnecessary. "The first two interceptions were just poor throws. Great reads, but poor throws," Sanchez said. "The last two picks were just [my] trying to create and do too much." Sanchez dispelled the notion that he's lost any confidence. "I felt comfortable with my throws. If anything, [I was] too confident," he said. Sometimes when you play against a Bill Belichick defense . . . sometimes they cover everything.
