ACCORDING to reports, rock star Courtney Love, along with legendary music mogul Clive Davis, are responsible for Whitney Houston's sobriety, which led her to file separation papers from Bobby Brown. Sources say Courtney was "horrified" by photos of Whitney's Atlanta bathroom that appeared in the National Enquirer. Courtney contacted Clive and suggested they put Whitney through an intervention. Clive then paid for Courtney's addiction counselor, Warren Boyd, to work with Whitney. The decision to file for a legal separation came after a private investigator was hired, who provided photographic evidence that Bobby was involved with Karrine Steffans, author of "Confessions Of a Video Vixen." It is also rumored that Whitney then cut off a $15,000 a month allowance that she gave to her estranged husband.
