Cancer Screenings Imperative for People Living with Hiv/Aids

According to a Parisian study released in September, more than one-third of HIV-positive heterosexual women and men-double the number of gay men - had anal ber of gay men - had anal ber of gay men-had anal lesions that often became malignant and metastasized into cancerous anal lesions. The study shows that anal cancer is relatively rare among HIV-negative people - but tends to develop slowly, yet methodically in people living with HIV.
