Summary
The Bush Administration and Republicans in Congress have shortchanged New York at every turn. Even while they claim to have improved homeland security, the very city where we were hit on September 11th has had to cut back in making us more secure. The Republican tax changes have shifted more of the tax burden on New York families while raising the debt on New York's children and devastating New York's diverse economy.
