On Friday, parents picking their kids up from RS. 38 were surprised to learn of the bus driver's actions. "It's kind of embarrassing because he's supposed to be a role model," said parent Andrea Pueblo, whose son is in the third grade. "Thanks goodness my son doesn't take the bus," she said.

"Fm very upset and angry that my son had to go though this on the bus," said [Ruth Reyes] calling the bus driver's actions "poor judgment." The bus driver, who was supposed to be driving three boys from the downtown school to their homes in East New York, reportedly took a detour onto Empire Boulevard, parked the bus in front of a roller skating rink there, stood in the bus stairwell and proceeded to urinate into a cup, to the surprise of the boys.
