"His main goal was to serve God and open up Christianity to the community," stated Cook's daughter Reva. "He wanted everyone to know about the wonders of Christ and administered to various people."

Rhonda Clines, coordinator of the church outreach ministry, stated, "Having the outreach was one of [Bishop Crosley J. Cook]'s greatest passions. He was concerned about restoring peoples' spiritual lives. The mission of the group is to compel men and women that Jesus can put a halt to their merry-go-round lifestyles."

Besides his daughter, Cook is survived by two stepdaughters, TaImadge Swaine and Ophelia Kinsey, and over 100 foster children ranging in age from 8 to 16 years. [...] there are the faithful parishioners who remember their pastor as a great shepherd.
